Too Much Dunking in College Basketball

Anyone else annoyed by the amount of dunking going on in college basketball? I liked college ball when it was still pure basketball but its straying away from that. ESPN glorifies it too. Every night 6 of the top 10 plays are college hoops dunks that arent even that impressive.

just ranting is all

I swear to you, when I first saw this topic's "title" I thought it said "Too Much Drinking in College."

I was about to say "Hey, this thread might explain my grades from Sophomore and Junior years!"

:)

I like to see good passing and team play not dunking. Also the refs could tone down calling so many fouls early in the half because the amount of these games becoming free-throw-a-thons is becoming an unwatchable joke.

ROY HIBBERT SUCKS!!!!!

Did you see the Duke/UNC game last week? I swear there was maybe 5 fouls called the entire game. It was crazy.

I hate at the end of games, when the final 50 seconds of game clock takes 15 minutes because of all of the fouls and free throws.

the last 2 minutes of a CLOSE college basketball game are what make college basketball so popular, especially if it's your team on the ropes, and they end up comming back and winning in that last 2 minutes.

Nothing like it.

I love close college games... but I think its hack that someone can foul their way to victory. Every other sport, fouls hurt you. In basketball, they are an advantage to you at times.

Maybe if they made it free throw dunks. But then everyone would be hacking EMU alumn Earl Boykins.
