EASPORTSGUY
I was wondering how many people are having issues with stadiums crashing? I've read in other threads that it may be related to Spungo's 2008 unis. I've read it could be because of the install of too many mods. I know it's NOT my models.big (cyberfaces). Any ideas? Thanks for the help!
redsox
It could also be because of the stadium itself. It may be the case that your computer is now powerful enough to run a lot of 2x mods and that is making your game to crash. Any stadium that is crashing for you, substitute in the default stadium to see if it still crashes. If it still crashes, then try a different set of rosters and their corresponding models.big to see if that fixes the problem. You just need to go through one step at a time to narrow down what is causing the problem. Often times, the culprit is either a bad combination of rosters and models.big or the user's computer is not powerful enough to run all of the high-end mods. EASPORTSGUY
NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS My system is quality, however I'm no expert on the issue! Isn't that a quality card? Should I have everything on in my 3D settings? Would you please give me an example of your settings? I'm using 4.5 converted to plus w/ models.big final. That models.big and roster should work, correct?
redsox
Try the first step I suggested - the stadiums that are crashing for you, replace those with the default stadiums from the CD and see if it fixes the crash.
EASPORTSGUY
What if I want to use the modded stadiums that come with the 07 mod, what do I need to do to make this happen? What 3D settings do I need to use? Most of the modded stadiums work, wtf!!! Thanks for any help you can offer.
BigRog
Post your computer specs, like ram and stuff. Do you have enough ram to support all the modded files?

For you to use the modded stadiums without crashing, you need to first pinpoint what is causing the game to crash. You can start doing that by installing the default stadiums from the CDs and see if it still crashes. If it does crash then you know that the problem is likely something else - mostly a bad combination of the roster/models.big.
EASPORTSGUY
Is this what you mean? Chip Type: NVxx DAC Type: Integrated RAMDAC Memory Size: 256 MB Adapter String: NVxx Bios Information: Version 5.73.22.40.01 I'm using 4.5 converted to plus w/ models.big final. I followed the readme, my question is shouldn't all of the faces be updated after this process or do I have to manually edit the face id #'s? The faces are in the model.big, however don't appear in MVPEdit when I import the DAT??? I ran the plus conversion but it doesn't seem to do the job. What am I doing wrong? I'll try the original stadiums on the disc to confirm that it is or isn't whatever.
BigRog
It could be the 256 memory. I think that is the issue.
EASPORTSGUY
Can I free some space up? Or is that all the space I have? Will deleting some files on my CPU free up space? I don't know anything really about how my system works, I'm still learning! Do I need a hard drive with more memory? If so, I need to take care of this before the 08 mod is released. ronmexico
No it won't. That is most likely the problem, (or one of them). You need to buy more, at least 512mb, though I'd recommend at least 1gb of it. You don't need a new hard drive with new memory, just make sure it's compatible ram. And is that a chip that's an ez install, like the graphics card? Or should I take it to the person that created my system?
ronmexico
It's relatively easy, it's something in between a chip and a graphics card, you just pop it in in reality. 1GB you can get for as low as 20 bucks, though I've found special super-deals where you can get them for 3 bucks. EASPORTSGUY
I actually have 512mb of RAM. The graphics card has 256. I'm going to upgrade 1gb, I think this will work. Thank you to all that have helped me understand things better!

Thank you to all that have helped me understand things better! Yeah, getting more RAM will help out greatly. It looks like your video card is integrated, meaning that it uses some of your RAM when you play your games. This is taxing your system resources, hence causing crashes and bottlenecking. Get some more RAM and see what happens. Good luck man. If you play alot of games, you might want to look into getting a video card with its own dedicated memory. EASPORTSGUY
Well, I now have 1.5gb. I'm still crashing with certain stadiums. I believe my models.big is good! (Roster 5.0 w/ models-final) Suggestions?
