Longest running Dynasty?

I am wondering what the longest running Dynasty is among all that have played the game?

I am in year 2015 of my Dynasty and I play every game. However, I do plan on trying MVP 08 with the latest roster when MVP 08 comes out.

By the way, getting this far into my Dynasty presents a most absurd scene when some CPU pitchers show up pitching with wristbands on. Yes, I think it's time for a change to MVP 08, but I have to say that I am somewhat attached to my ballplayers, and I say that knowing it may sound strange to some. 8)

Back when the game was originally released and before I knew about this site, I played 10 years into my owner mode with the default game. I was the Angels. When I finally got all the stadium upgrades and what not I got bored of it. I wanted to keep the save, but when I started a new game I accidentally saved over it.

The longest I have been in to a dynasty is 3 years (stopped playing early last year). I would have continued further but way too many pitchers started throwing 100 mph fastball and players started improving exponentially. That was before I added many of the mods that were created.

I am currently in my 2nd year as the GM of the Boston Red Sox (though I haven't played a complete game in nearly 4 months now) and it has been quite entertaining thus far. There are still some pitchers who gain a lot of ratings over the off-season and end up throwing 100 mph pitches but not as much as it used to be with the stock game. I learned how to edit the progression of the players and it has actually turned out great so far.

How do you edit progression of players?

Back in 2004 into early 2005 I had a manage-mode dynasty with the Mets that lasted a good 7+ years. I had Jeff Weaver go 27-1, Chad Bentz win 20 games as a reliever with a Cy Young and MVP Award...

Good times.

On a relevant note, I think that simulations and manager mode play into the player's favor.
