divsc
like rolie i would like some solid critiques on this attempt at creating a uniform...i have already learned a few more ways to utilize my editing program but i would like to focus on what might be seen by others...thanks to all
Gamingboy
I'd like to know why the cubs were using it, wouldn't it have been easier to use it on the Padres?
divsc
on dynasty i play with the cubs so i for my first try i made them for me to play with...uploading them was mostly to get other peoples ideas...fuzzone's program gives that whole fantasy uniform freedom to us less experienced
fuzzone
i personally think they are great. I havent rated them yet or installed them, but te screenshot looks nice. I'm going to give it a try when i get home. Excellent effort and my yankees are wearing Boston Black Sox uniform right now so i can understand the cubs wearing padres or whatever else they want to wear by the way, thanks for including instructions in your readmefile for fuzzMVP Studio 1.
divsc
i must thank you for giving me, and probably others, inroads to contributing to the game experience...i am finally getting my head around how to pack and unpack and extract and decompress and all the other stuff involved and i really enjoy it so you have helped make the hobby better for me...and my gf loved the illicit ones too. thanks much
carter
good job divsc. the funny thing is that i was thinking about making that uniform last night... but then i got the request for the mets black uniform. the only suggestions i have is to fix the llod.bmp file. you need to have the parts of the uniform displayed match the actual images. other than that you just have to work on the colouring a bit. the brown shades vary and in some cases are not very brown. regardless, you did a good job and it's a great addition to the game. keep up the good work! carter
divsc
thanks carteryard...helps solidify what i was thinking as i was starting the away uniforms for that year...chest protector and mask are wrong, correct? if not, i hope you have a moment to elaborate...as far as the brown goes, i wanted to pull it back as soon as i uploaded it 'cause i thought i could find a way to tweak it...you've done an awful lot of good stuff in a short time so you deserve all the thanks you get
carter
divsc, you probably already know this, but i'll explain it just in case you don't... the llod.bmp file contains small images the uniform that are used for "far away" shots. so, the llod.bmp must (or should) match everything else that appears in the game. what i noticed about your llod.bmp file is that the catcher's mask, chest protector, shin guards, sleeve, shoes, hat and pants were all different than the actual images. for example, if i remember correctly, the llod.bmp file has an organge chestprotector, while in normal shots, they have a brown one with orange trim. so, all you have to do is match them up and do a little resizing, copying and pasting. that's it... i hope that helps. i can't wait to see more padres uniforms! are you going to make the orange and blue ones as well? thanks, carter
