Controller Config - Unbind Pause

Hey guys, I have the Saitek p990 and pause is set to the left analog stick (when pressed). Is there anyway to unbind pause from the controller altogether (so pause would only be the escape button)? Thanks!

I got the P2500 gamepad (the same as yours, only with rumble technology) and I've set the pause function to the red (= switch profile) button. However, you may get rid of the pause function altogether by making some changes to the file controller.cfg (located in the folder where you keep your savegames). Open it with Notepad and adjust the settings to your liking.

You can also change the configuration of your controller so that the left stick click is assigned a different button number (maybe one that is not used in the game) - that will also solve your problem. That is the only way I could get it to work for me.

Hey guys, thanks for the help. So looking at the cfg file, what exactly would I change? I dont see anything for when you press down on the analog stick(press it in, not the down direction). Thanks again, here are the contents of my cfg file.
