Wooly08
Hi everyone! I just found out about this website and community, I am really impressed, and I am just about ready to buy this game now. However, first I have a few questions about MVP 05 for PC, and some of its modding potential. I used to play HHB2k3, and I want to know how they compare. HHB2k3 allowed a lot of customization. I have searched this forum, but I have not found an asnswer to these questions, nor have I found them at the EA forums, or the OS forums. I think this and EAmods are the last active websites for this game. I would wait and lurk longer before posting, but there is an ebay auction for the game and I want to know if I should bid. I donated, if that helps! 1) Can you make custom leagues, like mix minor league and major league teams in your dynasty? 2) What kind of custom divisions/leagues can you make? What is the maximum and minimum amount of teams you can play with in the game? How many divisions can you make, what is the max and min teams for a division? 3) Can you keep and apply a major league roster to a minor league team that you substitute in for that major league team? Can you just move the players manually? Also, is there a draft option to start a dynasty, where you can pick your own players for your team? 4) How does the minor league development, drafting, and scouting each compare to HHB2k3? This is the key point for me. HHB2k3 had an extensive minor league system where you could manage the development of each player, including their position, batting order/rotation order. I am looking for something similar or better. Also, I want to be able to easily export stats for majors and minors, to a spreadsheet to monitor development. Can you do that with MVP 05? How extensive are the stats in MVP05? Do they include things like RC/9IN (runs created per 9 innnings), stuff like that? 5) Can you mod stats, like to include something that EA may not have included, like RC/9IN. Can you replace their formulas with something else? And I know, it's trivial, but can you customize what stats are shown in certain situations, like when a player walks up to bat or you are looking at their profile, etc. I want like put in things like OBP, OPS, etc, either in place of or in addition to, things like HR, RBI, AVG? Thank you in advance for your help. Wooly
