Broadcast style camera while pitching/batting.

Hello all, I'm new here.

Just downloaded the MVP 07 mod today, and it's amazing. Thanks for it, and great job to all those who worked on it!

Now for my question, I hope it hasn't been answered already, and I'm just missing it.

I'm what you call a coach/GM only player. Meaning I let the game play cpu vs. cpu and I just watch the game. (I know, I'm boring) While playing in this mode, I'm having trouble finding a broadcast type camera angle (center field view) during pitcher vs. batter matchups. When my pitcher throws the ball, the camera follows the ball, instead of remaining zoomed out.

I would really prefer that the camera didn't follow the ball when pitched, and stayed in the default center field type view. Is there any way I can get the camera to stop following the ball when pitched, or am I stuck with it the way it is?

Thank you very much for taking the time to read my post, and I would be grateful to anyone who could help me.

Welcome to the site man.

I don't know if these cams will be what you're looking for, but they will let you watch the game from different perspectives.

Before installing, make sure you backup the files it tells you to on the download page, in case you don't like the cams. That way you can just copy the original file back into your MVP directory.

You will also need a program called TiT to install these. You can d/l it here:

Once installed and you get into the game, you can play around with changing the views: Broadcast, Zoom, & Ariel. They will change perspectives for ya.

*What you might want to do for future reference. After you get '07 installed, make a complete copy of the data folder. That way, if you install a mod you don't like, you can just copy the default files you need back into the MVP directory.

If you don't like those cams, there are many more in the Downloads section that I linked you to.

Good luck man.
