RobertF55 Posted April 15, 2008 Share Posted April 15, 2008 Hello all. I've been searching all over for help with my problem. I appreciate what you do even if you can't help me. I've had High Heat 2002 for several years, and moved to a few new systems with no big trouble. That is not the case with Widows Vista. I was able to install it, but got a warning about a compatability issue with memory. I installed anyway hoping I could run it in the "Windows 95 mode" option in Vista. The game played better than ever because my system is so much better than my Dell 400 I guess. After several games with much better everything it crashed and brought down the whole system as to require a restart(my first on Vista). There was an error message about a memory problem and a warning of loss of data. Sorta like a" blue screen of death" with the earlier Windows versions. My system is fine, but I uninstalled HH2002. Does anyone know of a fix to make it compatible with Vista? I love this game and never liked the 2004 version from the reading I did. Trouble is 3do stopped supporting HH2002 years ago. Thank you for the reply. That seems to happen a lot when I really enjoy something. I was able to use HH2002 on XP Home edition, but had an occasional crash. I've never tried them , but I was assuming him saying after XP Pro no High Heat games will play would mean HH03 or 04 would not.
