ehhh
All the tutorials I've seen regarding cyberfaces discusses how to create them but I haven't found much on adding them to your MVP game. If I missed anything I apologize. I have the latest version of TiT but only certain cyberfaces seem to work when installing it that way. For example, I DL'd several of Jogar's faces (mostly Yanks and Sox players) and about half of them worked when installed with TiT. From what I can tell the issue arises when I'm trying to put in a face for a player not in the original MVP '05 game such as Joba Chamberlain or Jacoby Ellsbury. All I've been able to understand is that roughly 900-915 are the generic cyberfaces. But what happens when a new guy is created, is he given cyberface #1,085 or something? How do I match that DL'd face with the created player? Any help here is greatly appreciated, this seems to be one of the last things I'm struggling to grasp. :)
Homer
what you have to do is open up your rosters with mvpedit and make sure the player has a cyberface number assigned. something between 001-900. if he has a generic cyberface assigned, you must find a number that's not being used, or simply take a cyberface number from another player. then export your rosters back into the game. once you figure out what number he is assigned, you must name your cyberface files accordingly. you should have three files, and they each start with C. name it so that the number matches the one in your roster. highlight the three files, zip them up and install it with Tit. ehhh
Sounds simple enough, thanks for your help. I'll try it out after work today and see how much damage I can do, hehe.
ehhh
Here's the exact process I followed... - Installed KG's 5.1 to a fresh install of '05 - Opened the MBE file in MVPedit - Went to the SWB Yankees and Shelly Duncan and changed his face # to 560. - Saved the file and exported it to the main directory of my /MVP08 Beta folder - DL'd Jogar's Duncan cyberface, which has c560 for the three files. - Used TiT to install that .rar file. Started MVP, went to the roster section and still a generic face on Duncan. I opened the MBE file again in MVPedit to make sure it saved the 560 and it did. Am I exporting the file with MVPedit incorrectly? Any other ideas? Thanks.
