Home Run/Stats Problem

Here's my problem.

I decided to make a dynasty with the Reds just to see how many home runs I could hit. I created a player with max stats and signed him as a free agent. I'm playing on rookie with max power sliders and through 49 games I have 170 home runs, on pace for something like a 550-560 homer season. But now when I finish games, even though the box score says I hit 3 or 4 home runs in the game, my stats show that I only hit 1 or 2 and that the other at bats are now outs. Any one know how to fix this so stats will be correct for what you actually accumulated?
