wcrickards
Greetings chaps! I have a pair of mod requests and I am far to inexperienced to know what I'm doing myself. #1 - I would love to have a pitch count overlay on the main game screen. I know someone has done a mod that changes the broadcast format to replicate ESPN's, and that includes a pitch counter... but I wasn't really thrilled with that one (namely because when pitching in view six, you can't see the pitch meter). So if anyone has a pitch counter that works with the MVP 05 overlays... I'd greatly appreciate it. #2 - Along those same notes, one of the thing that bugs me about MVP 05 is that the players seem to recuperate from day-to-day all-too-well. If I wanted, I could go to a four-man rotation. I can use a reliever for two innings, and the next day he's fine. Are there settings for MVP 05 that I can adjust so that my players tire out more easily? #3 - I have a guy on the DL whose injury time is 22 days. After 15 days, I have to either move him to my active lineup and not be able to use him for 7 days, or put him back on the 15 day DL and not be able to use him for another 15 days. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that you could activate a player in real life after spending at least 15 days on the DL, not using 15 day increments. Does this make sense? And is there a way to fix it? Thanks!
Maestro23
1. You can use anyone of Trues' overlays (w/pitch count) and just move the pitch meter where you want it. Using the following thread: http://www.mvpmods.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=...eter+metre.html Or use Pitch meter fix patch: http://www.mvpmods.com/Downloads/details/id=3820.html * I use Trues' 08 Overlay(w/pitch count) and the pitch meter fix. Pitch from view 6 (Behind pitcher) as well. Centers the pitch meter high & right over homeplate. Works like a charm. 2. Check out Ty's Stamina Changer mod for decreasing pitcher stamina between games. It and the support thread for it can be found here: http://www.mvpmods.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=...5/start=60.html 3. Not sure.
