Transfering rosters to MVP edit

Recommended Posts

How do you transfer the rosters from the game to MVP edit? And where are they located within the game? Thx.

The rosters are located in your MVP Baseball 2005 data database folder.

When you open up MVPEdit, click the "Import" button and an "Import DAT Files" window will appear. Find your data database folder and double click on the folder so that the icon shows it as being "open".

Next, click on the OK button. A new window will appear asking you to Save the MBE file. Enter a name for your MBE file, click OK and the rosters will be loaded into MVPEdit and your MBE file will be created for you.

can you open up xbox rosters on it?

If you could get them onto a PC you might be able to, however, I can't be sure as I know nothing about consoles.

Have you tried searching the forums. I'm sure that there's info someplace regarding editing Xbox rosters.

back in the day, they used to teach us not to start a sentence with a pronoun without ever having identified what the pronoun is referring to.

It's not the pronoun I'm confused about. It's the noun (or is it the verb?). I don't know what "this" refers to in the phrase, "I did this...."

I meant I can do the first export, but the problem occurs when I try to import into mvpedit.

Are you exporting the rosters from within the game (in other words, are you exporting to a .SAV file) or are you using TyWiggins importer/exporter to export the rosters?

Alright, I have downloaded the MVP Edit, imported the roster that I want to place into the game, but how do I do that? Forgive the ignorance.
