Couple minute delay on home run replays in-game.

Didn't see this posted anywhere (I hope I looked thoroughly enough).

Game's overall just a tad choppy (I figure its just my older CPU specs), but extremely playable and enjoyable.

However, when I or the CPU hit a home run (the ones where you automatically know its gone... the "its way back, and it is gone" while the batter walks for a sec... anyway) the game just pauses for a minute or two. Crowd sound still remains, but everything else stops, but then it picks up again just fine later on. I'm playing as the Orioles at the Twins if that has anything to do with it.

Again, I'm guessing its just an overheating problem of some sort, but just wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem.

Thanks!

Could just be your system. What are the specs? Does it do it anywhere else besides in the Twins dome?

Also, what mods do you have installed? (for your choppiness)

I installed the game, oh, geez, in 2004? Haha.

I'm running mvp 2008.

Anyway, I checked a bit further at some other choppiness threads and my system is equivalent with that.

My only question is that when I had MVP 2007 (or was it 2006 that was the first one? I can't remember) it would only let me play about 30 games in a franchise's season before it would crash everytime before the 31st game on the loading screen. Was that fixed? If so, the game ran perfect on it, and I'll just uninstall 2008 and reinstall 2007.

Any idea?

Haha, oops. Screwed that up. Then I used to run '06, upgraded to '07 now and its choppy. Sorry. Long day at work after 3 hours of sleep!

Anyway, yeah. Was that bug fixed for the '06 version (the ~31st game crash)? Or is that just a problem that a full uninstall then re-install should fix up?

So, you're running the 07 mod for MVP 05 then???

What are you system specs (RAM, CPU, Video card)?
