GMF
I installed it but it doesn't work. When clicking the shortcut the batch file opens and closes immediately. Any ideas?
snepp
What OS do you have? And have you tried contacting Kamasutra directly?

snepp
Well, here's the only thing that I can think of, hopefully you're familiar with a DOS prompt. If you are forgive all the extra instructions. Open a DOS command window: - Go to "Start", then "Run", then type "cmd" (without the quotes) and click OK. I'm going to assume that you have the game installed in the default location. Type the following then hit enter: cdprogram filesea sportsmvp baseball 2004data_kamasutra_mod Type and then enter: _kamasutra_mod.bat If it still closes instantly after running then I'm out of ideas for now. JP_Frost
I got the same problem and I followed your instructions Snepp, but it still closes.
snepp
I got the same problem and I followed your instructions Snepp, but it still closes. I'll bust out my laptop later (only thing I've got with XP on it) and see if I can recreate the problem. GMF
I got the same problem and I followed your instructions Snepp, but it still closes. Yeah, same here. My only solution right now is to open the bat file and read the code. By doing that i know which datafile i want then go to the MVP/DATA/Camasutra mod folder open the mod cabinet file extract the file i want, then rename it to datafile and copy it in the data folder. Coachwf
Had a problem running it, but it popped up an error message. NOTE: I have XP HOME. I had to copy a file called autoexec.nt from the c:windowsepair folder to the c:windowssystem32 folder. You might check to see if that file resides in your sys32 folder or not. It had to do w/ allowing a 16 bit application to run on XP. Maybe the error message is suppressed on your systems for some reason.

Coachwf
Here is a MS KB article related to the problem I had....could be one of 3 files not present in the sys32 folder apparently. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...kb;en-us;324767
GMF
any luck? No, that file exists in my system 32 folder. Now i'm going to see what will happen with the link coach provided.
GMF
Nothing worked. Any other bat file works on my system...
snepp
I believe I have a solution. Choice.com, the program that controls the menus in the batch file, doesn't play nice with Windows XP. The solution is to replace choice.com with choice.exe. You have 2 options, either simply save choice.exe to the "_kamasutra_mod" folder, or copy it to your Windows directory and remove any copies of choice.com that may exist on your system. Download choice.exe: http://www.winsite.com/bin/Info?500000025089 Hopefully that'll take care of everything. If you're still having trouble maybe it's a combination of choice.com and the autoexec.nt file. Good luck.
GMF
Thanks for the help snepp, but it still doesn't work. I doesn't matter a lot though since i can manually use the program.
