caliboyrob
I've got all of my problems of 07 fixed, thanks to the wonderful members helping me. Another question I have is this: I have at least 1 player on my SF Giants roster that has half of his hair pulled over his face. Tim Lincecum. And I've noticed some here and there on other teams. Would installing roster updates fix this? I have installed roster updates on the 06 mod, only to have the game crash on me during the season. Any help would be appreciated. I am learning new things everyday thanks to everyone, but I am still a noob. Haha.

Jim825
The issue is that the "04 Face" flag is set incorrectly in the rosters. If you open up the rosters in MVPEdit, set the option to display faces and go to the player's "Appearance" tab, you will see the face in a small window on the right side of the screen. If the face is an MVP2004 style face, you will see just a profile (i.e. a side view) of a face. If a face is an MVP2005 style face, then you will see a a full front view of the face. You will also notice that on the Appearance tab, there is an "04 Face" check box. If this is set incorrectly (not checked for an MVP2004 face or checked for an MVP2005 face), you will experience the problem that you are having. Simply set the check box correctly for the player, export the rosters and your problem should go away the next time you play the game.
RaptorQuiz
Nice explaination, Jim. That's about as simple and easy-to-understand as I've ever seen this question answered. Thanks for always being so helpful!
caliboyrob
For some reason, I can't get MVP Edit to work after installing it, but after some searching, I found a solution. I opened Attrib.dat with notepad in the database folder, and switched from '0' to '1' in player_attrib#11" for that specific player (04Face Profile), or something to that nature. That fixed the distorted cyberfaces on the players. However, when they are shown on the video monitor of the scoreboard, their faces are still distorted. I wasn't worried about that tho. Heheh. Thanks for the helpful advice!

BigPaPa
That can be a hard one to catch, puzzled me for almost a week once. I installed an 05 over an 04 and just couldn't figure why it was messed up.
