danc
Ok, The 2k8 mod will come out when it comes out #@%^it and quit asking about it!!! So could someone explain to me how to create, using my present 2k5 install, a separate install, in order to install, all of the mods necessary to install, the best possible installation of a dynasty season for this 2k8 season? I would love to play/simulate this season using the correct season schedule with the correct stadiums and correct rosters. Any instructors out there? Thanks. And please don't shoot the messenger. Sharpshooter
I had MVP 06 mod. Left for a year. Never got 07 mod. Searched for 08 mod and it wasn't ready. Real basebal season started. I got anxious. I downloaded the 5.1 Roster for 08. I downloaded the models.big file, portaraits file, 08 schedule and the 07 stadiums individually. What else is there really? I was up and running in a couple of evenings of downloads.
danc
Wow, Thanks DJ. That was really helpful. I have 4 different mods running on my system right now and I just want to add this year's season. I think all I have to do is take the basic 2k5 setup and transfer that to a 2k8 file then download the schedule and rosters but just wanted a step by step. DJEagles
There are many threads that will answer all your questions, all you have to do is look. No need to be sarcastic, I just see no reason to start another thread about the same thing.

RaptorQuiz
I'm confused by your question could you reword it I had to read it about 5 times to sift thru all the uses of the word "install" so I could try to figure it out, but what I've come to is this... I think he wants to know how he can (1) make a new, fresh install of MVP05 in a different directory/folder than his current directory, then (2) he would like to know which mods he should install, one-by-one, onto this fresh, new install - so he can get a reasonable recreation of the 2008 season. This won't be the same as the 08-mod that will be coming out sooner or later, but it WOULD allow him to play MVP05 in the setting of the year 2008. I THINK this is what he was asking. What I would recommend is installing the mvp 07-mod (reboot edition available on eamods.com), then installing the 2008 schedule, and the latest rosters, and spungo's uniform update. That would be a quicklist of a way to get you pretty close.
