Vanishing Stadium Announcer

Kind of a strange thing happened when I moved my MVP game and dynasty from my old computer to my new one. Everything runs and plays great, except the stadium announcer has for the most part vanished. Most games, he says absolutely nothing. On rare occasions, he'll pipe in with something like "Now batting...........", but not say any names or positions.

Does anyone know if there's a particular file that might be damaged or something? It's really not too big of a deal, just a bit odd and something I'd like to fix if possible.

Is it with created players what year are you in????/

I had this problem a while ago, it occured when i installed the Total Audio 0.9 mod, the announcers will work fine, but when a player comes up to bat or pitch and that name has some kind of error, i would get the same problem you are getting. Im not sure if you are using that mod but if so, i would suggest to reinstall old audio files or reinstall game

Thanks for the tips. I'm using the Ultimate Rosters that were from the beginning of the 2007 season, and I'm currently playing 2010. I've installed a lot of mods over time, I'll check to see if Total Audio was one of them. I still have my old computer sitting on mothballs, so maybe I could just copy a file over.. Any idea what the file name is? Thanks. This is a great community! :)

In some cases created players names don't get called because the name isn't recorded

I got a new PC last summer and have this same problem. Every once in a while the announcers will just disappear - and then inexblicably come back. However, on my Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 game I have no announcers at all (which isn't so bad because they generally suck). I think this is not just an MVP specific problem.
