paceee
I am using the 07 mod (07-REboot.TiT). Sigh... i've read the related threads to this, and i STILL don't get it... for me, there's a file in MVP Baseball 2005extrasFiINAL Face List called "07FACESFINAL.xls" where Joba Chamberlain's number is 74. I downloaded his cyberface, renamed everything to "c074.whatever"... zipped it, and TiT'd it. When I go in, his face isn't updated. Also, which file is the file that has the most updated faces? Thanks.
Jim825
Adding the face is only one step. Did you also update the rosters so that Joba's face number is set to 74?
paceee
don't think so.. i assume it was already 74? cuz it says so in the face list.. also, i seem to have lost a lot of old faces... so which file do i dl to update them? thanks.
redsox
If you are using KG's latest rosters, you would need to run the plus maker to convert the standard rosters to a plus version. The plus maker should be in your extras folder.
paceee
i ran it, but it says "attrib.dat file not found, press enter to quit"
redsox
Then grab the attrib.dat file and put it in that folder. You would need the manager.dat file as well.
Jim825
i ran it, but it says "attrib.dat file not found, press enter to quit" The attrib.dat file is one of the files that make up the rosters. This is in your MVP Baseball 2005 data database folder. I've never used this Plus maker utility so I don't know exactly how it works, but I'm wondering if you need to copy it to a different folder (like your data folder or data database folder) before you run it. Is there a readme file that came with it?
Maestro23
i ran it, but it says "attrib.dat file not found, press enter to quit" Copy the Plusmaker into the MVPdatadatabase folder and run it. Get everything in one shot.
