Sean O
These threads are being run like the old Yankees / Sox threads: no antagonizing, no passive-aggressive attacks, etc. If you want a place to debate, please use DJ's official politics thread. If you have a comment on Obama / Democrat matters, please use that thread. Keep it civil.
Kayxero
Lol at lack of responses=P. Um are their any repubs on this server? The Dem thread had a some real nice discussion. Id like to see some here to if we have any republicans.
timay
Umm Why are you in here? You are a democrat so go to your thread, thanks.
Kayxero
Id rather you not tell me where to go. Its called an honest inquiry. Did you not read me asking if there were repubs on the site. Im interested in seeing some discussion, which means im interested to read their views. So kindly back off. Edit: Also i feel reading both threads and also the main thread can give me some info =/
timay
No you posted in here because as a democrat you think its hillarious no one posted in here. Yeah I read that you thought it was funny how there were no responses in here with a tounge sticking out. Cut the **** and stop sugar coating what you are doing, taunting republicans or mccain supporters goes in the debate thread. Now kindly go back to your democrat thread where you belong. Kayxero
Dude hop off. Thats all I can say. My first reply obviously asks people who are republican to speak up and discuss whatever. Dont try some lil bs with me about how you know what I am trying to do. Im sure you can read minds over the internet. How do you know i think anything is hilarious. If anything I found it very weird that this thread has been quiet and was trying to invite republicans to speak up. So again back the hell off. wcrickards
I am a conservative. That's one.
timay
Heres my first thought, if Mccain wins, there will be a race war across the country. Thoughts?
timay
yeah, BTW, I am independent, but sway more towards conservative, so I guess you can say I am.
Kayxero
Actually I can see that happening no matter who wins. I would not say a race war however, but race relations may be tight until people get used to an African American president, or until people get over McCain winning. Which ever happens, there will be tension.
MarkB
timay, yet again, you fail. How in the blue hell can you tell someone what they are thinking? If Kayxero wants to read the Republican side of the fence, that's up to him, and we welcome it, as long as he isn't causing any trouble or starting arguments, as Sean said in his first post. The same goes for you in the Democrat thread - if you just want to see some intelligent conversation on the topic, feel free to post there, again, as long as no arguments are started. Kayxero, I apologise for timay's short-sightedness. You are welcome in this thread in exactly the same way as you are welcome in the Democrat thread. Kayxero
Btw I am not a democrat. I agree with each nominee on certain things and disagree on others. I like to gather info, and other people views and evaluate. Honestly if it was a actual possibility, Ron Paul wouldnt be a bad choice Imo. Edit: By actual possibility I mean I really want to make my vote count. I know every vote does count, but statistically Ron has no chance, so Im going to learn as much as I can until November and see what happens. Btw Im not registered yet, so i can still go to what ever party is out there, right?
wrigleyville33
Ron Paul was a god here in alabama lol. My mom and sister will probably go mccain. Idk about my dad though.
Kayxero
No, if Obama wins (which I seriously doubt), all the minorities will be happy, whites will just continue on with their lives (unless they are a white supremisist). If mccain wins, minorities, especially african americans will be up in arms and will think the "white man" is trying to screw them again, and call racism and make an excuse to further make the crime rate go up. Wow are you kidding me. As an african american im offended by this. First off what blacks have you been around, because trust me there are plenty civilized, level headed afromericans who will accept things as however they happen. Do you know MANY minorities still went with clinton, as they went with her as a senator and went with her husband for president. If you look at polls you will see that the race is very close between obama and mccain. And yes minorities vote for Mccain. Did you know that california, the state with the highest percentage of Asain americans, that they mostly went Mccain. I believe Asians are minorities right. On to your crime rate comment. You must live in west bumblefuzz to say something so stupid. I happen to live in a very mixed upper middle class neighborhood in my city and let me say, everyone, of every race, acts just wonderfully. I could leave my door open at night if I wanted. Thats brings me to my point Crime is not a matter of race, but of lower social castes and poor environments. Poverty perpetuates crime.

DJEagles
You are doing nothing but looking to cause trouble, yet you blame everyone else. You continue to make inflammatory remarks, and then hide behind half-hearted apologies. It's quite disappointing, because in the limited talks I have had with you, you seem level-headed, then I read some of the **** you post here, and it doesn't make much sense to me. Kayxero
As Found on Best Places.net Race in West Haven, CT 70.23% of people are white, 17.77% are black, 3.69% are asian, 0.27% are native american, and 7.62% claim 'Other'. 11.10% of the people in West Haven, CT, claim hispanic ethnicity (meaning 88.90% are non-hispanic). This town of 53,000 has more than the US 13% African American population. And the Violent Crime Index for this town is 3, with the US national avg being 3 Should the crime be higher since you have a few more minorities, according to the way you think? The town seems pretty safe to me even though its 30% latino/black/asian/etc. Grow up dude EDIT: About Bestplaces.net Data Data Sources Sources of data and other content Original research and analysis by Sperling’s BestPlaces / Fast Forward, Inc. timay
Not appologizing for this. I am stating the truth here, Mccain wins there will be an uprising among the african american community and race wars will happen all over again, because if mccain wins african americans will cry racism, this is just the truth, sorry. I am stating the truth here, Mccain wins there will be an uprising among the african american community and race wars will happen all over again, because if mccain wins african americans will cry racism, this is just the truth, sorry. I could easily be as silly minded as you and say, If obama wins there will be race wars in the soith, because the south is still very segregated. But you wouldnt know this being in CT. Half my family is still in Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi, and I visit quite often. And le tme tell you that peopel stay apart, and look at you weird if you are hanging out with a different race. Both races do this. Anyways to my point, say Obama wins, would i be far off to suggest that KKK and other nationalist fronts would not try and assault minorities whichever race they are? Honestly i think thats a dumb long shot. But if you can say something to stupid to try and spark something, so can I. You should know better than to try and pull some negative race crap here. Im in my honest opinion, if Obama wins it will brings races together, although some may be uneasy at first. If McCain wins itll be business as usual. I mean its 2008 and i think peopel are too smart to go back to the race wars of the 70s and 80s.

Actually i Live in middletown on the border of wallkill. I def wouldnt call middletown inner city. I have seen inner city being raised in queens, NYC my whole life. Middletown has PLENTY of upscale areas, of which im proud to be in. Honestly I dont see a problem with any area in this town. The areas people call bad here are a cake walk compared to some neighborhoods in NYC. Honestly I think that its just people like you, who see minorities living in an area and automatically say its unsafe without having really being in the area really. Way to generalize and stereotype huh? Middletown biggest minority pop. is mexican, but they are hard working and dont pay me any mind. Btw orange countys real inner city is Newburgh, so where do you get your facts? EDIT: Btw do some traveling bro. Not just the northeast. Actually live in many areas like I have and you will see that "waste havens" have all creeds and colour. Leave it at that. timay
I know it isnt anything compared to NYC's 5 borroughs. Actually very beautiful area, down route 17 K (by Orange county choppers, yes the Orange county choppers of cable tv fame) and Orange County airport, very picturesque...I thought you were trying to say you lived in an urban area and I was proving you wrong. Anyways, thats my views on the election and if Mccain wins. Who else has anything to say about MCCAIN, not Obama, he has his own thread.
