Editing Career Stats

I really like having accurate career stats, but because I started my 07 dynasty with the year as 2005, I have overlapping stats with people having over 300rbis in certain years.

I was wondering if it were possible to delete the default statistics from specific years.

I would like to delete years '05, '06, and '07 so it only shows the stats that players earned during my dynasty and not a combination of both.

If it is possible, I'd more than appreciate a walk through it.

If it's not I'll just suck it up and keep looking at ugly career stats.

Welcome to the site.

i believe so, it's all in the read-me.

Yep. The readme should be sufficient. And if you have any problems or questions regarding this or anything else you can search the forums.

I'm not sure about the Dat Importer / Exporter (which allows you to modify the respective dynasty files while in the middle of a dynasty) but ... with the Schedule Updater ...

Basically, you can use the schedule updater to update the current date at which the dynasty will start and whether or not the players' ages should remain the same. You can change the year to any year you want but it will be April 1st. You can also change the current date forward or backwards by atmost 9 days at a time. Using this tool, you won't have stats clashing like you've had. You can basically change the year to start in 2007 for example instead of 2005.

You create a new dynasty as usual and when you reach the dynasty management screen (or its subscreen), you minimize the game (via Windows Key if you have one) and run the exe scheduler program. After all the changes are done, you can change to another screen, such as the schedule screen to see the new update. Next, you should save the dynasty and quit / exit the game. When you load the dynasty you just changed, you will see the new updated date and you can start playing in the new year.

Besides playing the game starting in 2005, 2006 or even 2007 ... you can play one of the total classic games or even MVP94. So, with this tool, you can have multiple years on your machine at once. It's best to install a vanilla version (with Patch 5) under MVP05 and then copy the directory for each additional version and apply the other version's upgrade to the other directories. Good luck

PS I'm not sure but I believe the program has to be run from the same directory as the mvp05 executable so it may be best just to leave a copy in your vanilla MVP05 folder before you make copies for other versions.

Okay I see now that tywiggins program is what I need however, I have an entirely new problem now. Before you tell me to, I've already looked around quite a bit for a solution and even stumbled on a very nice cure from ty himself on the download page.

The problem is, I never got error messages in the first place. When I open the exporter (as well as schedule updater) no errors come up, a black command window just opens briefly and then closes. I haven't come across that problem in my searches, perhaps I haven't look hard enough. . .either way I hate to be a bother (again) but if there's a way around this too, I'd love to hear it. Thanks again guys.
