Plusmaker Problem

Hi, so I have been problems with crashing anytime I try to play a game whether it be an exibition or one in dynasty. I downloaded the MLB07 reboot, final 07 models.big, and KG's newest roster standard version(5.2). After looking through some other posts, I think the problem is that I did not use the plusmaker. So I transfered the plusmaker into the database folder but when it runs, it comes back with an error reading "could not find C:program filesea sportsmvp baseball 2005datadatabase*.dat.bak".

The last part of this message is what I do not understand. I don't know of any file I have that is *.dat.bak

When you copied the plusmaker into the database folder, did you also copy the config settings file as well. (Both are in the Extras folder in your MVP directory).

Both are needed.

At first I did not and it gave me an error message about not finding the settings, but it is in there when this new error appeared.

*Make sure you are using the Plusmaker in the Dat files folder in Extras.

Try the whole process over again from scratch.

Copy the new rosters into the database folder.

Copy both Plusmaker files into the database folder.

Run the Plusmaker.

I started the process over and I still receive the same error. Could it be a problem with the actuall plusmaker?

I use KG's 5.2 as well. Here's my database folder with:

The 2 .bak files

Both Plusmaker files.

Copy into yours, run plusmaker, and try an exhibition game.

This didn't work either but the plusmaker had two different errors this time. Instead of the *.dat.bak I now get attrib.dat.bak and manager.dat.bak. and then it says access is denied. I don't know why it says this because I noticed that both of the files were in your database i downloaded.
