How Do you hit a batter with a pitch?

Sorry if this is a repeat. I have searched and couldnt find this specific topic. I am using a logitech rumblepad and being a mets fan, hate the braves. In two staright games they hit my best player and now i want to hit chipper jones with a pitch. Is there a way to do it? because i am just trying to aim the ball at his head but it doesnt work!

press "L1" and the right analog stick,

or else just hover the ball over them and allow the accuracy meter to go the full way up to the left before clicking it. this works best with a two seamer

Hold down the 5 button and push down on the left joystick and you will hit the batter.

Go into your controller settings, and see what it is set on. Sometimes different controllers use different settings. I can do it by holding down L5 and pressing in the L analog stick at the same time. If I do the right analog stick, I intentional walk a guy, which I hate. Id rather pitch the 4 pitches.

Depends on which controller you have. With my Logitech Cordless Wingman RumblePad, I use L1 + Z button to hit a batter.

Anyways all i do is fill my 2 seam or slider meter after aim inside and then i do not hit the pitch for accuracy and it usually nails em. Sometime it goes behind the batter though =P
