HFLR
Rivera -- I know you made it to majors in the second season (didn't play much up there) Well at least I'm in the big leagues, thanks for the update wolfy :yeah:
SpaceFlare
Haven't been posting a lot here lol. I know you said pitchers sucked, and I bet I did poorly due to lackluster control. May I know how my guy, Andre McLean of the Cleveland Indians did?
andytheavs
Hey if you get a chance, my 3B prospect in the Rockies system has a spelling error. My name is Andy Weiss-Berg with 2 s's rather that 1. It's not a big deal so take your time, thanks.
phetal
Traded to the White Sox, eh? Fine with me. There's another Jays 2B prospect, I see... and while I like the competition, I do respect the Jays for making BOTH of our lives better . So you're gonna do a second test run today, then start? wolfy6finger
Weiss-Berg -- for some reason I saw only 1 S, but that alright it'll be fixed on the next update. McLean -- I deleted all the MVPSaveReader files a few days ago, so I have no idea Butera -- It was only a test run, so who knows what will happen the next test run and the actual season NEXT TEST RUN: I'm updating the last 8 or so teams throughout today and tomorrow morning. So, the next test run will be Sunday night and, if all goes well, the dynasty starts Monday night after work (still ahead of my original date) Note: I'm going on vacation to Philly Thursday through Monday of next week, then Martha's Vineyard the following weekend. So the updates may be sporadic on here over the next two weeks. Don't worry, the dynasty is alive and kicking.

wolfy6finger
I'm currently at work, but I did reedit some of the teams over the weekend, but Sunday, we had a crap load of thunderstorms here in NH (it seems like we've been having these regularly over the last 2 weeks, its beginning to **** me off) Anyways, I simulated a couple of seasons, and I got it to almost were I like it. The hitters weren't progressing as much, in fact, no one reached AAA during the first season (I haven't check the second season, as it was 2 am). But there were hitting prospects that struggled, I know Quisenberry hit like .270 for Cards A, then got promoted because of injuries and his .109 in AA, before I demoted his *** back to A (I control the Cards) The pitchers seemed to do alot better this time round, a more 50/50 split of ERA over/under 4.50, with a few in 3-3.50 range. We did have one retirement this time in the first season (none in the second season) -- Michael Silberling retired for injury reasons, which kind of sucked because he had like 3.50 ERA in 130 IPs Also, since Stefanik asked, you got injured, then released by Phillies Organiztion. Not sure were you ended up in the second season since I haven't checked them out yet, but you weren't on the FA list. Some others I remembered, Butera got traded twice to the Colorado, then the Tigers. Kelvarr hit like .240 before getting released, then picked up by the Tigers, where hit like .240 again. Armstrong was released in Spring Trainign of '06, but was picked up somewhere, because when I had plethora of injuries, I went to pick him up and he was gone. Also, Lemiuex, we may need to put you on a different team, you keep getting released within the first week of the season, because the Cubs are loaded with Catchers and you don't get much playing time. In fact, we have another Top 100 Prospect (Malin) on the A team. Would you mind going across town to the White Sox organiztion? (We don't have any over there) Don't ask for stats, I'm gonna do the third and final trial run tonight after I update the last few teams and put in the last two porspects that just signed up. It's almost were I want it.
wolfy6finger
After reading my notes that took to work, here's a couple of additions to last post: Kade Harte -- I did promise an update. While I don't remember the stats, according to my notes you did well, but was not promoted to AA. Glasner -- You played like crap at both levels, low-.200s avg in A-ball, slighlt better in AA. Got released late in season, pickup by Brewers, but had only 7 ABs for them, before getting released again. Not sure what happened in second season Chaparro -- My notes said .306 avg in A with 6 HRs, got to AA at some point and played 1 game with 1 AB. Pengelley wasn't as successful as the first sim, but that was one similarity, you got traded to Angels (RC of A) again. Takashi? -- was the best pitching prospect this time and the first one with an ERA below 3.00, but he had a losing record. I guess bad run support. Also, so you guys now, I haven't been much of prospect in either similation. First time around, ERA was near 5.00. This second time, I improved to 3.78 (which is good), promoted myself midseasonto AA for 3 starts when an injury occurred and got hammered 9.83 ERA, before I went back to A. Thats all my notes

Thats all my notes Thanks wolfy! The Brewers will figure out that I'm their best prospect down at A-ball, as they will need my 5-tool talents once they figure out that Mat Gamel (AA), Taylor Green (A), Darren Ford (A), Charlie Fermaint (A), Ryan Crew (AA), Freddy Parejo (AA), Adam Heether (AAA), and Laynce Nix (AAA) are too inconsistent or at least have one glaring weakness. For example, Gamel has a "glove of lead," Ford takes a stroll when he should turn a single into a double, and Parejo and Nix are "too cool for school" (and "hotdog" it sometimes). Plus, we'll have to give up on Gabe Gross eventually (like they did in reality) and make a decision about whether they want to keep Bill Hall on the team despite his streaky hitting (that is too streaky for performance consistency) - especially against right-handed pitching. Yes, they will see the foul of their ways, and make me their next Ryan Braun... Think I tauted my prospect enough, like an agent looking for a bonus, lol and just giddy with chocolate hearts... --- vbprogjoe  :wtg: :readingxxx:

wolfy6finger
Sorry wolfy but there is no way in hell I'm going into the white sox organization. I sent you a pm with some teams I wouldn't mind going to. I figured that was an insult, but then I was like atleast its Chicago. I might of figured out a way to keep in you with Cubs Anyways, here's what I'm gonna do, since you picked OF as you secondary position, I'm gonna make you a LF (CF and RF are already taken by Lee and Greenfield) and you're secondary position will be catcher. You'll still get playing time at catcher, because Malin can't catch everyday..... However, if you or Malin get promoted to AA, I'll put you back at Catcher (MVPTeamChanger and MVPEditor is the greatest mods on this site). Would this be OK with you? (I did see the pm...D-backs are in the same predicament, but Rays/Brewers could work)
wrigleyville33
Ok thanks wolfy, could you make me a 2b then catcher then? CF is the only position I ever play if I do play in the outfield.
