i think we should all let him get everything worked out instead of hounding him for updates on every player. there are quite a few of us, so just be patient. it sounds like he's making adjustments to everyone.

That sucks that I got released by Colorado. But at least it was the Tigers who picked me up! It really was a toss-up for me between Colorado and Detroit anyway.

If I continue to get released by Colorado, then just put me in the Tigers farm system. I think they have weaker (and older) catchers anyway.

OK, I think that was everyone on this page. Again, this my last update on the the second run.

Like I said, I think I'm close as our players didn't progress to AAA or MLB right away, especially during the first season.

I've check the second season, and noticed only 2 or 3 guys made the leap to AAA (brief appearances, which tells me it was injuries to other players).

This seems to be a more natural progression. Also, for the third run, I upgraded some guys, because it seemed their was more releases this time than the first run.

This had taken me a longer than expected, but that's why I was stated July 7th was my orignal date -- hoping for a JUne start, but the test runs taught me things. PLEASE BE PATIENT.

Jae Won had asked a good question, when I actually start the dynasty, I'll update the player profile pages periodly (see post #3 on first page). I'm not doing that for the trial runs as that would be a waste of time.

Those guys got more drama than a Telemundo soap with Maria Conchita Alonso and A. Martinez in the lead. Girls, drugs, egos, transactions. and underdogs - it is like they were made for television. Instead they were made for MVP, lol... What a team, make a grown man weep sort of...

The first trade was actually 3 for 3. I believe it was Blake DeWitt, Shackelford and SS Hu for McLean, a Catcher (Camarco?) and Nicholas (one of my friends)

I can't do anything about it either, I only run the Cards -- I let the AI do all trades and signings. I was actually offered a deal for of one us -- don't remember who it was though.

I find the AI trades one guy, then ships him again in 3 weeks often. Is there a mod to limit trades a little?

I know I can turn off all trades, but I like keeping injuries on. So, I have to keep trades, etc on or else good MLB players end up on the Free Agent List

I'll be around for another hour or so, before I head off on a 6-hour journey to Philly.

I know I was (still am) part of that, but then had Wallbanger take me out of it with an injury, so I could focus on this one. I wasn't focusing much on this, because I was always on that thread...it's addicting

Travel got a little delayed, so I'm here for another hour.

OK, just to let everyone know if I wasn't simming the seasons and actually playing (which I will do when I officaly start on Monday), that if you are playing well, but not progressing from A to AA. I will use TeamChanger and go to that team and edit your player, so you get promoted. (Although not in the first month of season)

I use TeamChanger quite alot to reorder rosters/edit players based on performance during the season.

Hey, wolfy, I thought you were playing the Cardinals within your dynasty. Meaning you were playing as the St. Louis Cardinals (with your prospect, and the other Cardinals prospects - your real-life friends included), while our prospects were just being simulated along with your dynasty season as you played within the dynasty. Then as each of our prospects progressed or regressed, you were editing and re-modifying as appropriate with TeamChanger to promote/demote as necessary?!?

Or did I misunderstand (or using the Clemen-ism: misremember)???

Vprog that is correct, but I hadn't started the dynasty yet. I was just doing the trial runs (which means some of these prospects could of been promoted if I had been playing it), I just wanted everyone to understand that.

Since I'm back for a few days, before I head off again. I've started the dynasty with 60 or so guys that I have. (The last two were not put in, but will be -- editing the CPU generic players and sign to teams, the one guy to NAts and the "IDC" guy went to the O's -- handpicked out of hat).

I've played about a weeks worth of games (about 1/2-week of minors has been played), but I'm heading to Martha's Vineyard for the second half my of my vacation. On Wed of next week, I'll post the first updates of this dynasty on this site (new topic) and on the dynastymanager site.
