stilts
Pencil me in for the Braves. I have my custom guy now; IRL I'm a converted SS who pitches, however, MY dynasty has my CAP as a SS but I've been working on 'drawing out' my pitches / controls / speeds (are still iffy, but low 80's for a 4-seamer, etc). Let me know if you need an SS or a P for the dynasty, I'll toss my P together quickly in a few mins and post - keep in touch and let's see how this bad boy works out! andytheavs
Prospect: Andy Weiss-Berg Organization: Colorado Rockies Andy Weiss-Berg, Baseball America's 49th ranked prospect, should prove to be a reliable infielder in the years to come. His small physique results in exceptional agility and a quick bat. Though not expected to produce many HRs, Andy's developing place discipline and base running abilities are predictors of a high BA and OBP, as well many stolen bases in the near future. If it's too long or something or whatever, just say "he's a wannabe Ichiro."
duckdodger215
Prospect: Rusty Shackleford Organization: Los Angeles Dodgers Baseball America Ranking: 39 A rising star in the bullpen, Rusty offers up three different pitches to stifle batters to close out games. He keeps the hitters guessing and loves to paint the corners and induce ground balls. His stamina will not allow him to pitch more than 2-3 innings, but on most occasions he will only need 1 inning, thus proving he would be an asset to any bullpen

SpaceFlare
Prospect: Andre McLean Organization: Cleveland Indians After a prolific high school career, McLean has decided to jump straight into the professional level. Armed with a surprising five-pitch arsenal, McLean was one of the more intriguing pitching prospects in the draft. Questions arise about his temper and ability to stay cool under duress, but he has the talent to be honed into a bona fide ace.
Nameless
Prospect:Buck Wheatley Organization:Devil Rays Buck Wheatley is a very natural talent. From being noticed when he first start high school, Wheatley has been a great upcoming player for the Bigs. He has a great pop to his bat and not to mention soft hands. His only flaw is that when he gets a bit inconsistent, he tends to fall into a big slump which always is hard for this young fellow to get out of. If he can overcome this, he'll be sure making up to the Show in no time.
Cudaflu
Prospect: Riley Cooper Team Affiliation: Braves Riley Cooper is a pitching prospect out of the University of Florida. He has four different pitches including a mediocre fastball and three good off-speed pitches. He has never been an overpowering pitcher and is looking more for ground outs or pop outs than K's. With a little work on the velocity of his pitches, he could end up being a succsesful pitcher in the future.
Harsh
Prospect: Harsh Gupta Team: Blue Jays This guy has been compared by many scouts to be like Rich Harden. He's got the stuff to dominate and be a power pitcher who strikes out a ton of guys but can also get wild and walk a-lot of batters. His one other problem is that he has a past history of some arm problems. If he can stay healthy he should have no problem getting to the Bigs. vbprogjoe
Prospect: Kade Harte (#51) H.S. / College: Bay Ridge Port (WI) / Bowling Green (KY) Team Affiliation: Milwaukee Brewers Strengths: Kade Harte is a very patient at the plate, and can put down a bunt so deftly, he could even deaden it on a hardwood floor - ala Brett Butler. He not only will steal a lot of bases, but he is an intelligent base runner (base stealer). Harte has the potential to be the next Robin Yount defensively, as he has a “cannon†for an arm - and it qualifies as a S.W.A.T. sniper in terms of accuracy. The director of scouting of a NL-West team remarked on condition of anonymity, “He reminds me of Mike Cameron, but he currently is slightly less refined.†A highly respected scout of an unidentified NL-Central team raves, “Kade is as tough as nails, he is like Jason Bourne on the diamond, he will flat-out deliver a roundhouse “kick†to the opposition when his team needs a clutch play.†Weaknesses: While Harte is awesome and deadly against all southpaws, in both contact and power, he has a tendency to overswing against some righties with good movement on their breaking balls. He will usually make contact against any pitcher (no matter righties or lefties), but he has trouble with any right-hander that can put movement on their sinker or slider. A scout for an AL-East team who spoke on condition of anonymity, phrased his criticism this way, “If my pitcher is facing him, and he has a grade-A splitter, sinker, or slider - and he is a righty - I feel comfortable we have a 75% chance of getting him out. On the other hand, if he is my hitter, I’m getting him extra BP the next day.†While his fielding is generally “second to none,†he has one minor flaw in his technique. As one anonymous roving scout of an anonymous NL team said recently, “He has a tendency to get sloppy with his technique when he has to make a catch on his non-glove side, but he has worked very hard on it, and gets better in every game he plays.†The key with all of his weaknesses though, is they are all correctable! Projected MLB Debut: Late 2006 to Mid 2007. I'm sorry if this is too long, I just figured I'd make it as realistic as possible - with some comments from scouts (anonymous/unidentified) and some specific breakdowns (strengths and weaknesses). Wolfy, just tell me if it is too long and i'll try to take some stuff out (I have it saved in a WordPerfect file somewhere on my PC - not sure where though). I'll find it and try to hack away some jazz, either that or just say he is the best outfield prospect since Roberto Clemente. Just kidding, I'll work something out, somehow or someway... :wtg: Thanks, --- vbprogjoe (Joe W.) :hail: :wall:
jai13
Prospect: Jai Waddell Team: Pittsburgh Pirates Can field at all the infield positions, although more natural when turning a double play, he has the reactions to be able to play the hot corner and the glove, and reach to play first. With his arm, that top level speedsters may be able to beat out slow grounders on, he is very accurate. More of a doubles hitter than a Home Run threat, he can find the gaps in the field with his contact skills. He should develop into a player consistently challenging for the batting title and gold gloves. He will get on base consistently as he can read a ball well, though he expands his strike zones when in a slump.

MarlinsMS_35
Prospect: Michael Silberling Organization: Florida Marlins Baseball America Ranking: 28 Michael's change-up is what made him the pitcher he is today. He has a decent fastball, and a decent slurve, but his circle change-up has earned him the spot of #28 on the baseball America top 100 prospect list. JDorman3rd
Joseph Dorman Rank: 63 Organization: Baltimore Orioles ETA: 2007 The 20 year old Dorman is one of the top pitching prospects in the game. He's got a fastball in the upper 90s with a lot of movement, along with a hard, nasty curve that he still needs to harness at times. He's still working on his changeup and slider as they aren't reliable third or fourth options.

wolfy6finger
As a reminder these teams are closed CLOSED:Blue Jays, Cardinals, Cubs, Dodgers, Mets and Red Sox are closed for prospects. We are still looking for White Sox prospects Also below is a positional breakdown. We have 30 spots left, and 21 of those need to be pitchers, if I'm gonna release a team .mbe with 10 pitchers per level. The remaining 9 players need to be mainly OFs. Also, when I release this I may move some the guys that are at 2B/SS to their secondary position (if they have 1B/3B) to fill those spots up a little more. We have a ton of Middle Infielder guys. This would only be done for release of organiztion .mbe, which is currently a tie between Pirates/Nats Positionional Breakdown: C = 7 (for release I'll move Lemieux back to C) 1B = 4 2B = 12 3B = 4 SS = 10 LF = 3 CF = 5 RF = 6 SP = 15 RP = 4 Total Batters = 51 Total Pitchers = 19 (need to get to 40)
