wolfy6finger
Going through some prospects, I think that there are couple of cyberfaces I don't have. I'll have to check when I go home I have some new ones from 07, but I picked and choose certain ones (like Ellsbury, since I from the area). What I did for all players that were still generic - was give them other faces that were similar, so they didn't look generic looking. This took awhile, but worth it D-Unit - Markakis? I believe I have this one Glasner - Hu (not sure) patel - Adam Jones - I defintely don't have (gave similar face from another player) McLean - Hughes - need to check, I might have it

wolfy6finger
Everyone from ^ has been created, except last two guys. I played three 7-inning exhibition games with a couple of us last night and tooks some snapshots. This weekend, I'll post them. First was Palm Beach vs. St. Lucie A. P Wolfe 6.1 IP, 2 runs, 4 k's 1 bb and a tough loss. Probably stayed in too long as we were winning 1-0 going into the 7th. Quisenberry went 0-3 with a fielding error (didn't cost us) Glasner went 1-3, R, 3 SBs and a game-winning RBI groundout (against A. P. Wolfe). Next was a game between Tampa and Myrtle Beach: Ummm...Rodriguez got injured on the first play....LOL. Good thing, this is just a trial run. We had someone else in this game from Tampa, but forgot to grab his stats. Mazalon went 0 for 2 with a sac fly. Then I did a Clearwater game, but it was late and I've completely forgot what Stefanik did. I don't think he did anything special since it was an 3-1 loss. Note to self -- I don't have Ellsbury face. For some reason, I missing some faces that I had. I think it's old datafile I had when my PC crashed. So, I will have to download some of them again. wolfy6finger
Name:Nick Pengelley Pitching Stamina: 75 Pickoff: 45 Pitches-not sure on the last two..help me out Fastball:0,70,88 #2:Curveball: #3:Knuckleball Nick Somehow, I missed you and your question. I use MVPEdit, so the higher the number the better movement, control and velocity Movement is based on a scale of 1 through 15 While Control and Velocity can be anything from 0-100 Curveball does it drop (12-6 curve) or move away from hitters (Rightys)? Knuckleball that's usally a drop ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- On another note for everyone, I had to adjust some ratings, so you'd fit in as Class A Prospect. Plus, on some the "General Ratings" didn't make since, I was getting some 23's for Plate Discpline, etc. I use MVP edit, so those ratings are based 1-15 scale. (i.e. 5=50, 10=75, 15=100), so I adjusted them accordingly. Also on some hitting attributes I had too proportionly adjust them. For example, Kelvarr had 75/90 and 70/90 (something like that) in the hitting categories. I evenly dropped 30 points from each to make sure he's on a Class A roster. (I did the same thing for pitchers, including myself) If I don't do this adjustment, after a day or so the CPU will reorder the rosters and move you to AAA/MLB in season. That kind of defeat the purpose of this. Again, I use teamchanger often to reorder rosters and edit players. So, if you are doing well when I check that team, I'll edit and up your ratings. I also adjusted some people's birthdate. Since this is a 2005 season, a birth year of '91, would make you only 14 in season, so I adjusted up to 17/18/19 years old. I can't wait to start this and intergrate this into my Cardinals Franchise.

I had my guy made for one of the other ones, so his stats might have been high. Any changes you make are fine. Did you only drop the offensive stats? Or did you have to do the same with the Fielding stats? Edit: How did/do you determine what ranking you are on the Prospects List? Oh, and awesome idea for a Dynasty! wolfy6finger
I was wondering about that after I gave you mep. I had my guy made for one of the other ones, so his stats might have been high. Any changes you make are fine. Did you only drop the offensive stats? Or did you have to do the same with the Fielding stats? Depending where the other stats are at, I will downgrade them a little. Like I don't think anyone is perfect, escpially as a Class A Prospect. Everyone one needs room to grow. Here's some insights into my thinking on minor adjustments: If Speed = 95+, I'll knock them down 5-7 points. On the 1-15 scaled stats, if numbers are at 12+), I will knock them down 2-3 points. (That way I don't sap their entire offensive stats to get them as Class A Prospect). I never realized how much the fielding stats effected the overall rating until I was fooling around with it. One stat I adjust more than most is Fielding and Throw Accuracy, because, if you look at Minor League numbers, they make alot of errors down there, especially the lower-levels. I have a system that use for stamina for SP. MLB - 80+ AAA - 75-79 AA - 70-74 A - 65-69 When I was doing my first Cards Dynasty (through Aug), I find that the 65-69 SPs on average get about 5 IP/start, which is about right.
