Ex..if you want to run with the man on first press the button on the controller that you would use to throw to first. lautrec Posted June 15, 2008 Share Posted June 15, 2008 with the P880, you have to "select" which runner you want to steal with. If you want the guy on first to steal, press the directional button for 1st base, highlighting the player, then when you decide to steal, press the same directional button to the up, or 2nd base. DO NOT PRESS the buttons in the front of the P880, the 7 or 8 buttons, they control ALL runners, not individuals. That's probably what you are doing wrong, sending ALL runners. You may have the mixed the steal buttons with the runner/base selection buttons with the advance all runners button. I use a Saitek P2500 Rumble Force, and I have no problems selecting a base and advancing all runners or a single runner.
