BG_Eckstein11
Sorry if this is a bother but how can i pick a runner off? As in throwing it to first? Any help is appreciated!
Tenshi28
One of your buttons should be configured as the pickoff pitch. To do the pickoff throw you must push that button and without releasing push the button for the base you're throwing to.

Tenshi28
I am not entirely sure but I think it should be the pitch 5 button. As a matter of fact, the few times I have played with pitchers that have 5 different pitches my pickoff wouldn't work because the button would just execute the 5th type of pitch. It should be button 5 unless if you changed it to something else. To find out: You can play an exhibition game. Make the first guy you pitch get on first. Hold down button five and press the first base button. If that doesn't work, try holding down another button and then hitting the first base button (or whichever button corresponding to the base the runner is on). You can also check the configuration section to see what the other buttons do. If you haven't changed the configuration, the button for the pickoff should be the same as switching fielders (on defense). 4-2nd ↑ 2-3rd ↠→ 3-1st ↓ 1-home And pitch #5 by default according to the configuration should be button 7 and not button 5 so if you either reset the configuration setting or change the button # to something else that wouldn't conflict with button 5 then you shouldn't have that problem. Maybe there is no way to change the button for a pickoff through the configuration in which case, you have to leave button 5 available for the pickoff and change pitch #5 if you changed it to something else.
