It is currently being developed by Adobe Systems. Public betas of some applications (Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Soundbooth) were released on May 27, 2008 [1]. Currently, little is known about the development of CS4. New versions of Photoshop and Flash are known to be in development, but have not been released for beta testing yet. Other applications from previous versions of Adobe's Creative Suite are assumed to be in development. It is rumored that CS4 will be available as both 32-bit and 64-bit applications for Windows, but only 32-bit for OS X [2]. There is currently no public release date or pricing information for Adobe CS4, although there is speculation of a release date in late 2008 or early 2009 [3]. meteamo
This looks cool. I do work for a non-profit and was thinking about buying the CS3 ... otherwise, it'll be too expensive. Since the CS4 may come out soon, should I just wait for the CS4 instead?
MarkB
That post is a waste of bandwidth. Also, the fact that someone who can't use punctuation correctly and has shown little to no intelligence in the last 7 months on this site is allowed to spend money on a high-end graphics package like Photoshop is a sad reflection on society. KidCavalier23
It really isn't. CS3 has everything you need in it. I don't think that CS4 will have anything extemely different from CS3.
wrigleyville33
Ok, but I'm sorry but I highly doubt someone will drop 800 dollars on a photo editing program unless they run a photo business. Especially if they are just getting into graphics.

So, I may as well just get CS3? I got to fill out and submit some paperwork still. The only thing is that via one place, I can only get the Design Collection. I'd rather the Master Collection ... maybe I can get it directly from Adobe's non-profit section.
MarlinsMY
My brother and I were thinking about upgrading to CS3 (Production Premium)... I guess we should hold off on that. (We had bad timing on upgrading to Premiere Pro CS2 - CS3 was released not long after we did it.) Here's hoping that Premiere Pro CS4 actually works with the Canon HV20.
