Uniforms without lettering or numbers on them

I was wondering if there was a way to get uniforms and take the player numbers and name of them. I have tried deleting the font for the uniform yet this has been to no avail, help needed

Some teams have uniform slots (typically slots i & j) that contain retro uniforms for teams prior to 1929, which is when numbers first appeared on jerseys.

For example, the retro uniforms for the 1903 Yankees and the 1919 White Sox are included with the game. These uniforms do not display numbers or names.

jim825 i knew this already but thanx anway and thanks redsox i shall try that it seems logical but could i just use an already blacked out one from one of the old uniforms or would there be a problem.

if you find a text file that has all the alphas blacked out already, then simply extract it and rename the file to whatever slot you want and install. but if you're pulling it from a classic uniform, you can pretty much bet the alphas aren't set up like that. the classic uniforms use slots that just simply don't show the names and/or numbers because it is hard coded into that slot. but just experiment with it and you will see. just back up your files first.
