mrhogwash Posted July 23, 2008 Share Posted July 23, 2008 When I install either MVP07 or any of the Classic Mods (i.e. Total Classic), I see 'Missing Texture' in place of a player's face and his portrait. However, this does not happen to every player, but about 95% of the players. Why some players' face and portraits appear, is another question altogether. Does anyone know why I see "Missing Texture' instead of a player's face and/or portrait? When I played MVP05, I saw the 'Missing Texture' box [ul]only for the team logos[/ul]; I did not see the 'Missing Texture' box in lieu of the player's faces and portraits. It could be because the stadium you selected or the uniforms you are using are too graphics intensive. Secondly, could you please tell me how I can find out the specs on my Graphics card (type, amount of memory, etc.)? Also, I don't appear to have a problem with any of the stadiums or uniforms with any of the Mods. Generally they appear okay. It's just the faces and portraits. It all depends upon what your system can handle. Search the forums for "graphics card" and you'll find plenty of suggestions. I've got an old ATI Radeon 9600 Pro that I bought a number of years ago. Can someone please, please, PLEASE tell me whether this is the reason why the faces and portraits are not appearing in MVP07? Do I need to upgrade either my video card or inbcrease my memory? If I could only upgrade one or the other (for monetary reasons), do you think I could get away with only upgrading one? And if so, which one, my computer's RAM or my graphics card?
