I did some reading and i found out that if i get an wired 360 controller then i just plug it in, and download the drivers and it will work. But i have a wireless controller and if i buy the Microsoft Wireless Gaming Receiver For Windows, then i can get the wireless controller to work.

I was just wondering which i should get.

-The wired contoller

or

- Microsoft Wireless Gaming Receiver For Windows

- or is there a different one that works well with this game?

I don't know about those but I use PS2's controller. I just bought the adapter from PS2 cable to USB and connected. I haven't tried it with MVP baseball 2005 yet since my comp just got fixed and wanted to start playing it again now. It works ok with other sports games (FIFA, NBA...)

if you have a wireless controller, i suggest getting the rechargeable batteries and wire to charge it. The wire plugs into the controller and is a usb output. It plugs into the computer and works for me. You can get it for probably 20 dollars .

I use a Logitech Rumblepad 2 that I got refurbished off Ebay for $14(including shipping). It has a rubber grip, vibration, and it came with a 1 year warranty. It's a pretty solid controller. It's a bit bigger than a PS2 controller(Which I think is good), and it feels like a durable device. It may not be cordless, but it's tough to beat that price.

I use a Logitech Dual Action that i bought for $20 (design is just like the one described above me) and it works fine with the game. Been using it for about 6 months now without any problems.
