It's not an "old game" you just need the "old one" to be able to update it to 07 and soon to be 08. It is better than ANY console baseball game out, not to mention for the consoles they are very poor in detail and you have to buy one every year, with MVP you buy it once and then your set.

Oh and it is nice, but not demanded to make a donation if you see fit to the amazing modders who work their butts off in their own time for everyone's benefit. But trust me, buy MVP! You will not regret it, this I can promise you...Just go to the download sections and look at all the amazing stadiums, uniforms and utilities that are available for this game...I really cannot praise this community and game enough. You just have to get it and find out for yourself.....Best baseball game ever hands down! Of course with the help of all the best modders ever!!

Ok, look. There's only a few places where you can get this game. And I'll level with you, it's going to cost you. You will overpay for this game and it's just the way it is.

1. Search on Amazon (expensive)

2. Search on E-Bay (expensive, but from what I see it is a little better than Amazon.)

3. Extreme luck. If you have garage sales near you, stop by and take a look. Just ask them if they are selling any old computer games. You never know. Also, flea markets would be a good place to check out. Most people don't know the real price of this game.

All I can say to anyone is best of luck. This game is worth it.

What do stores like Bestbuy, Circuit City and the like do with their

old un-sold stock? Does it just sit in their in-store warehouse?

I'd ask for them to check in back, ya never know???

Any store that sells used stuff, ya never know what you'll find.

they won't have it. everyone on this site has checked that stuff once. its like a needle in a haystack to find it in a gamestop used bin. You got to think, disks are getting broken as we speak and the supply is dwindling so that means a decreasing chance anyone will have it outside of the online sites we know.

From a personal experience, I work at gamestop and I have worked at Toys R Us, any old old stock usually gets shipped back to the warehouse.

What I want to know first is how much you paid for it

What does it matter what he paid for it? If the guy is losing money he's losing money and if he's trying to make a profit he's still giving him a market value of the game... even offered a little less.
