sfochs
Is there a download or some way I can fix the home run distance to be correct? It always seems to be wrong. You can hit a bomb in to upper decks and it still says its in the upper 300's.
sfochs
or am i the only one with this problem? Anyone else notice it?
hiheat32
that distance is actually right. the projected distance would be a lot further but those upperdeck seats are actually 300 somethin ft away from home plate.
sfochs
oh, well i guess i just assumed it would give the projected distance, thanks for clearing that up for me

JCL71
LMAO Were the game options on steroid or non steroid batter power? :oP I once hit an inside the park home run in a single A game on owner mode. The right fielder took a few steps and then stopped. The ball rolled from fair into foul territory and just stood there. The batter I had, his speed rating was high 50s, low 60s (no, it wasn't Bengie Molina and his speed is 5). I was talking to my then GF on the phone while playing. When this happened, I laughed my head off and she wanted to know what was so funny? I told her and she laughed too. She knew I love baseball and also playing computer games. So she was pretty cool with that.

wichart
Home run distances are often way off. It's most obvious when you hit a 407 foot homer directly over the 415 foot sign on the wall, etc. It goes the other way too. I hit 350 foot outs that take the fielder right up against the wall in front of a 375 foot sign. I think the longest homer I've hit in 26 seasons was 494 feet.
