davidthecornman
Sketchup can make stadiums. There is a thing called sketchyphysics that make it convex hull and make it where stuff wont go through.
wrigleyville33
Ok we care why? sorry but this is completely pointless...
Borgi
I think he is saying another program that you can edit stadiums with. Like oedit. Maybe the stadium modders will appreciate it.
catzrthecoolest
That was unnecessary, wrigley...
Sean O
Sorry, there is a whole lot more to modding than just loading up sketchup. The collision data is its own beast, the graphics are completely different, etc. We already have a good modelling program in zMod, and Vectorworks allows us to do anything. davidthecornman
i know but it can maybe now have collision data
BigPaPa
Collision data for MVP 05 is done in a very old and outdated form that used ot be known as Rhino points where essentially each vertex is written to a text file. Doing collision data on ant geomety in any sort of modeling program other then Oedit simply wont work. Could you work on stadiums in SketchUp? Yes. But 3ds Max is a far better modeling program and that combined with Zmod can produce far better results.
rolie
Yeah zmod is great. You can model in sketchup and export to 3dsmax and put into the zmod chain. It's a lot of rework though, might as well just start in zmod to begin with. Rhino points aren't that bad once you know how to avoid some pitfalls. BigRog
then don't mod stadiums. Its as easy as that. Rolie went out of his way to make a video and if its not loaded on youtube then he didn't want it on youtube. Only he can load it up to that site. Yankee4Life
ill try and download it some other day. Hey, I don't know what the heck sketchup is or what it is used for, but if this is a program you have to pay for to use, then we don't talk about getting it to download on some future day. But if this program is freeware, forget I said anything, ok?
