I waited this long and I can be more patient. Besides, I haven't touched the game in 8 months, what's a little bit longer? It looks good though from what I've read around the intertubes. Anyway, with joking aside, the main issue with the crash was that certain files were not compressed. Apart from the Red Sox (100% overhaul) and Indians, all the themes do for the others teams (for the moment anyway, hopefully it will change in the near future) is add the particular team's logo in the overlay and install a custom CTS. I took somebody's advice in here and didn't load a theme and it works great. The only adjustments I have to re-install is the the MLB 08 portraits. The only thing that I noticed was that the lighting in the player edit screen was kinda strange, but during the game everything seemed fine. Since the guys who developed the mod are over there, they will probably be able to answer your questions quicker. Plus, I do recall seeing an MVP08 support thread over there.
