bballfan2008
This is a joke, I've been playing on the season mode with the Boston Red Sox and through 16 games so far I only have 25 walks as a team. There's some players that haven't drawn any walks in the 16 games. And I'm patient while batting. I get to 3 and 2 in the count and then , Wham, the pitchers will come in for strike 3 instead of ball 4. At this rate I'm on pace for only about 250 walks this season, a unheard amount in real baseball where teams usually average 500 to 700 walks. This just aint realistic. dannyt
I don't get walks simply because I swing too blasted much. Try adjusting your sliders. There's one that has to do with the computer throwing balls.
xNc1212x
When i had a walk situation i used to always take till there were 2 strikes. Then i would swing away.
ehhh
I play with hitter's eye off and my own Pro slider tweaks. In each AB I typically wait for the CPU to throw me one strike before I swing away. I believe I have CPU Ball Rate at 40 right now and I had 5 BB's in my last game against Toronto. It sounds like you should try adjusting that Ball Rate slider as dannyt said, I actually had it at 50 for the first two games of my MVP08 dynasty with the Yanks and I had a combined 13 walks in those games. Cudaflu
I can usually draw atleast two walks a game, mostly not on 2-strike counts though. The computer usually throws strikes on 3-2 from my experience.
