BigRog
change the file extension to .txt
Jim825
change the file extension to .txt That won't do it. The proper way is as follows: 1. If you don't have a datafile.txt file, open up the file MVP Baseball 2005 data datafile datafile.big with EAGraph 2. Extract the file datafile.txt 3. Uncompress the datafile.txt file using the eazip utility. The command to uncompress is: eazip -u datafile.txt 4. Open up the datafile.txt file with a text editor (Notepad, Textpad, etc.) and make your changes. 5. When you are done, compress the datafile.txt file using eazip. The command to compress is: eazip -c datafile.txt 6. Copy the modified datafile. txt file to your MVP Baseball 2005 data folder. If at any point you don't like the datafile, simply delete the datafile.txt file and you will be back to using the default datafile in the datafile.big file. They are separate utilities and not part of Windows. Also, eazip is a command line based utility and it works best inside a DOS (i.e. command prompt) window. You have to run it in the directory that contains your datafile.txt file.

Ohhhh, I don't have EAZip...just EAGraph. Thanks. EDIT: Nooby question, not that my other question wasn't nooby, but where is EAZip?
Jim825
You can get EAZip here (I just Googled it): http://www.nba-live.com/download/pafiledb....tion=file&id=

It told me 1 Connection Per IP...go figure. I'll try it again later.

MarkB
The problem here exists between the keyboard-chair interface, methinks. From what I can see of your address bar in that screenshot, it says "afile" at the end, making me think that the directory you are in, and the eazip.exe file that you pointed to in the screenshot is in, is the MVP Baseball 2005datadatafile directory, rather than the MVP Baseball 2005data directory that the program is asking the file to be in. Hope that helps. ;)

Or was it always like that?
