configuring Saitek P2600 Rumble

I've never used a controller other than keyboard and mouse so I have no idea how to configure this. Can somebody help me with step-by-step easy to understand instructions? Thanks!

I found the configuration in the configuration file, but now my problem is the controller isn't showing up when I play a game. All I can choose from is keyboard1 and keyboard2 or CPU,

Well, looks good. The only thing that's different in my file (I'm using Saitek's P2500 gamepad) is the name of the controller:

profile= Cyborg_Force_Rumble_Pad

device= Cyborg_Force_Rumble_Pad

Try those settings, maybe it'll work...
