tribefan72194
OK I'm new (well I've had an account for two years, but am actually using it now), and have a few questions. 1. Do I have to individually download each file, or can I download them all at the same time? 2. Can I import my own music files into the game? 3. Where can I find up to date rosters? coolmexican
I would love to know the same mate. I used to be a member at Madden Mods back in the day and there you had to download each file one at a time. I hope you don't have to do that here. So troublesome for us slow connection brits. Where can I find up to date rosters? 1) I presume you know about MVP 08. It's got everything you'd want. 2) Yes. You need the Ditty Importer. I think it's available on this site. You need to convert your MP3's using that tool, and overwriting the the existing files located in "MVP Baseball 2005dataaudiocdmusic" 3) See number 1, they're included Or wait until the roster makers release their post trade deadline rosters. superciuc
One final question. I have MVP 05 but does it need to be installed for 08 to work? No. You will need: 1. MVP disks 2 TIT 2.0.3 here's the link http://mvpmods.com/Downloads/details/id=4106.html To install it: 1. install TIT 2. run TIT 3. It will ask for CD 1 and 2 4. when asked to select your favourite team, select none 5. play MVP

superciuc
What if I torrented it? Did you torrent the game? If yes, you can't play MVP 08. And we don't discuss torrent or everything regarding piracy.
DJEagles
Without discussing how you got the game, if you have disc images, then yes, you can use the '08 Mod.
superciuc
Without discussing how you got the game, if you have disc images, then yes, you can use the '08 Mod. Can you install the game with the images? I actually tought you can only run the game with the images.
tribefan72194
So can I save the 'files' to a disc then run it?
DJEagles
I am assuming if you burn the mod to a disc, it'll work fine when you go to install.

I don't know if the game is going to run with the burned disks. I'm sure that the game runs with mini-images. And it runs way smoother too. 7up3345
I tried that with the ditty importer and when i started my game up, it went back to the original music. I was playing mvp 08.
MarkB
Same happened to me - before I realised I changed the files on the wrong system and had changed the music on my desktop system over the network rather than my laptop files. So, step 1, make sure you're in the MVP '08 directory. After that, follow the instructions in this thread to change the music.
