Mauer4MVP
Did anyone else go? I just got back. I got the three day pass and it was amazing. One of the highlights of my life and will probably always will be. Rage was by far the best show I've ever seen. Seeing an outdoor concert, at least 75,000 people, jumping up and down the whole time, and moshing the whole time, plus it was rage, it didn't get any better. Other bands that I saw were the Black Keys, Radiohead, Raconteurs, Brand New, Lupe Fiasco(I was waiting for Rage), Iron and Wine, Tally Hall, Blues Traveler, Gnarls Barkely, and Kanye West. The only bands I missed that I wanted to see were Manchester Orchestra (which wasn't a big deal since I've seen them twice in the past year) and Explosions in the Sky. All in all it was awesome! xNc1212x
If i lived in the area i would have went. The lineup was phenomonal, Rage must have tore it up. Ive seen Brand New like 4 times they are always a great show. Kanye Tears it up.
Mauer4MVP
Ya Brand New was disappointing. They ended 15 minutes early. I guess Jesse(the lead Singer) was mad because everyone was just waiting for Rage.
xNc1212x
Haha, I would take Rage over Brand New any day. Rage played over where im from with Wu Tang Clan, I tried to get tickets but it sold out in like an hour.
Pirate
I saw Radiohead here in Indy on Saturday. If not for that I would have been Chicago for Lollapalooza. Radiohead put on one heck of a show... I have a link to the Radiohead show if you want a copy for your own use. Radiohead wants people to trade their music, so there are no illegalities to it... http://www.sendspace.com/file/n8ts6j

xNc1212x
IM not a huge radiohead fan. Their music bores me to tears. It also gets kind of depressing. but its coot hat they advocate the sharing of their tunes.
dusthimself
Oh I LOVE Radiohead. They have some great songs, and according to the top 100 guitar solo list i've seen, "Paranoid Android" was on it. Thanks for that link, dude, i'll check it out when i'm not at work.

RdSoxFan618
OWNED. that music is just horrid. Yeah, it is almost dead, but I really enjoy it. If there's still ska bands out and about, it's not dead, but it's...pretty close. Ska has't been big since the Mighty Mighty Bosstones and No Doubt back in the 90's, but I think Streetlight Manifesto could revive that. Most of the good, popular ska bands sold out (Reel Big Fish + The Aquabats), so it's definitely heading in the wrong direction. If you don't like the sound of horns, then simply put, you won't like it. Most metal fans don't like it either because it is too slow and not loud enough. RdSoxFan618
Streetlight kicks some ****. illscarlett. killer green. keepin6 those are some GTA ska bands that kick it hard. See guys? It's not dead yet  . What's your favorite song by Stretelight? My 2 favorite songs are Down, Down, Down to Mephisto's Cafe and Failing, Flailing, but I am in love with all 36 songs that Tomas Kalnoky has written for Streetlight Manifesto (or Catch 22 ) The 5 BOTAR songs are great too. el_jefe061
I wish I would have been in Chicago for Lollapalooza (I'm moving there in December, quite a bit too late), but I almost made up for it at the Mile High Music Festival here in Denver. Dave Matthews Band, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, John Mayer (fannnnnnnnntastic), O.A.R., Lupe Fiasco, and Jason Mraz to name a few. I wish I could have seen Rage, Radiohead, and Kanye though, for sure.

Im a musician and that intro is just so **** catchy. Dude, that's by Reel Big Fish. SCgX4ixCRcQ Is that what you are talking about? There's no songs by Streetlight Manifesto called Beer. The song is a good use of upstrokes...I just love that sound, that, the walking bass lines, and catchy horn lines is what makes ska awesome!
