el_jefe061
Sending Brett Favre to the Jets is like re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. They're just going to lose to the Pats anyway. HOWEVER It's an important stop-gap, and his acquisition will be vital to the development of Kellen Clemens. That's the big thing here.

el_jefe061
What happens if Brett leads the Jets to the playoffs, only to blow it by throwing an interception at home in overtime? "Brett Favre led the Packers to within one game of the Super Bowl..." THEN BLEW IT! IT WAS ALL HIS FAULT! I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here. Nobody mentions this. ShequaSean
it wasnt his fault, they had no game plan that entire game
maddux31
Good for the Jets and great for Favre, that just added 2-3 more years to his career! Nobody has brought up the fact that this is still going to cost GB lots of money anyhow in marketing, just like the 20 million they were going to give Favre not to play, now the fans will be sticking it to the front office. What a dumb...dumb...move. Now Aaron Rodgers has to be perfect, because everytime he screws up (which will most likely be alot) the fans are going to chant WE WANT FAVRE!! That's like replacing Derek Jeter at ss. Who would want that pressure??

I'm still in shock, can't believe the Jets just snagged the best QB of all time. There's actually Football for the Jets this year. Bye-Bye 3-yard Chad.
BrooklynNets24
Guess jets fans are forgetting about the Madden Curse. It has already struck the GB fans

el_jefe061
it wasnt his fault, they had no game plan that entire game Yes it was, he threw that terrible pick. It was an absolutely atrocious pass, and everyone seems to have forcefully taken it out of their memories.

ronmexico
You know, I love the Favre trade, just love it because it brings a new dimension to our team where we can use the run game because they can't stack the box on us anymore, but I will be sad because Chad is truly a terrific guy. But nonetheless it's a business and this is the move that had to be made. Clemmens looks like a little Favre, so I'm thinking this will help him too. If only there was some way to combine the brain of Pennington with the body of Favre. :yeah: For the record, I think Favre handled this whole situation horribly, but I welcome him with open arms. I think the Giants showed everyone how to beat the Patriots six months ago in the Super Bowl. Or doesn't that count anymore?
