Jim825
Hi, I was wondering how to take/export the Angels from the 1961 Total Classics and put/import that team into the Angels team slot of the 1951 Total Classics. Is this possibile to do? Thank you. Yes, you can do this. Here's how: 1. Open up the TC1961 rosters in MVPEdit. Either open the TC1961 .mbe file, if you have it, or import the .dat files into MVPEdit. 2. Export the Angels using the File->Export->Team menu option. Select the Angels and save the .met file. 3. Now that you have the Angels roster saved, open up the TC1951 rosters in MVPEdit. Again, either open the TC1951 .mbe file (included with the TC1951 package) or import the .dat files into MVPEdit. 4. Import the 1961 Angels into the TC1951 rosters by using the File->Import->Team menu option. Select the .met file that you created, select the Angels as the team you want to replace, and make sure that you have the "Replace" option set and not the "Add Team" option. 5. Once the Angels are imported into MVPEdit, click the Export button to export the rosters to your data database folder. Be aware, that in the game, the Angels will be referred to as the "Anaheim Angels" and that they will be using their 2005 uniforms. If you want to change these, it will be a bit more work, as you have to edit the in-game text (.LOC files) with LOCLook and extract the uniforms and uniform select screens from models.big and uniforms.big and then import them into the corresponding TC1951 files. It's not hard work, but it takes a little time if you've never done it before.
