xiberger
I've had issues with the Metrodome for as long as I can think. Somehow the gameplay was different than in all the other stadiums. For example, when the ball was thrown around the bases the game seemed a bit choppy. I recently discorvered that datafile.big holds specific datafiles for all stadiums. So I took tropdome.txt from the archive, renamed it to metrdome.txt and put it back in there. It worked as the Metrodome no longer acts weird, but now of course the replay cameras are messed up. Although I could live with it (since the gameplay isn't affected), I'd prefer to have the replays working as well. Can anybody help me in finding out what part of tropdome.txt fixed my problems with the Metrodome?
xiberger
Good news, I fixed the issues. The Metrodome has a unique broadcast camera view (fieldingview2) in its datafile, which apparently caused the problems. After deleting the respective parts in the datafile, everything is perfect again...or is it? As you can see in the images below, the fans behind home plate are now partially blocking my view. Looks like they're not too interested in what's going on in the game. ;-) Although it seemed annoying at first, I think I could get used to it. Still, if anybody has an idea on how to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated.
