HuPeRcHiLd
1. Is there a way to throw from your knees after diving for a ball? 2. Can the catcher actually be hit by a runner? If so, how and when? 3. Is there a reason why my catcher sometimes doesn't throw to second with as much power? Does it have to do with where I throw the ball? Not manually - sometimes the computer will do it on its own (if you "pre-load" the throw. 2. Yes, if you use a controller. I use the Saitek 880 - I press up on the analog stick. 3. No clue on this one - haven't noticed that.

HuPeRcHiLd
The problem I have with the catcher from time to time is that after he gets the pitch, I push and hold the button to throw to second. Sometimes the power line just won't fill up. It'll stop without me releasing the button. As far as the pre-loaded throwing goes, how do I do it? The cpu will make 'casual' throws to first if it's an easy play. I want to do that too. Can I? BTW, her name is Alizee. Do you like?
snepp
It sounds like that particular button on your controller might be going bad. Do you ever have the same problem with the other fielders and throwing to 2nd?
HuPeRcHiLd
Sometimes it happen when pitching, but not when throwing normally. How do I do this 'pre-loaded' throwing?
Neil33
Start pushing the throw button before the fielder fields the ball.
kaplerisking
Kinda going along with this topic about the catchers and throwing to 2nd, my catcher never gets to because no one ever tries to steal on me. Why is this? Is there a bug in the game? Even great baserunners like Beltran, Ichiro, and Soriano won't try to steal on me, even with runner aggression turned way up.
