Almost all good portraits are done using a high resolution photo that MLB.com release on their Pressbox site - the image is usually at least 1000x1000 resolution. The image you've provided is 90x135. In short, if you want a portrait made from that image, it'll be crap quality.

You'd be as well waiting for the 2009 Pressbox photos to be released and get a good-looking portrait at that time.

Also, just because your signature's been removed doesn't mean you can't add another one in, as long as it's within the requirements of the site rules. :)
