carpenter
His family announced today he lost a "short battle against cancer". Pink Floyd are likely over today, and we lose a musician whose entire life was an understatement. He was far from the spotlights in his great days as in his bad period in the 80's, where the band's harsh split drained his creative efforts. He then regained confidence in the 90's, came back in full strnength and even took part in David Gilmour's 2006 tour as the main keyboard player. Hi music and gentle touch will live forever. In 1972 he expressed his fears about death in the wonderful and touching "The great gig in the sky". http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=tP7zBdxe0jQ Richard Wright (28 July 1943 - 15 September 2008)
