Trying to use the Saitek X52 to play, need help.

I am trying to use my Saitek X52 flight stick to play MVP 2005 since my PS2 style controller died, but I have a serious problem, every time I get a base hit my runner slides into the base, SO obviously something is acting as the right thumb stick. SO I tried to set the deadzones on everything to factor this out and it wasn't working. Is there any ways I can disable the functionality of the right analog stick or does anyone have experience with this controller?

For now I'm disabling it with this :

VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_RIGHT= not_assigned -1

VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_LEFT= not_assigned -1

VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_UP= not_assigned -1

VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_DOWN= not_assigned -1

I'm not totally new when it comes to config settings and what-not but I'm not too familiar with controller assignments as far as what button/axis on my controller is called in the config file, I did do a bit of searching on the forums but could not find this information, it would be really nice to slide around :p
