Wicked420
I was playing a game against the Red Sox when an outfielder took a step up the wall and jumped off it to make the catch, is it possible for a player to do this? If so, how? Sorry for the low quality image.
RaptorQuiz
Are you asking if it's possible for your user-controlled player to perform this same action (that the CPU-controlled player did)?

RaptorQuiz
If you're using a gamepad, the default setting is pushing the right analog stick up. If you're using the keyboard, the default setting is pushing number-pad 8 and the right shift key at the same time. That is for "climb wall / jump for ball over head." Hope this helps. Wicked420
I tried that, he just jumped up like the ball was over his head. Maybe i done something wrong. I'll give it another try next chance i get. Thanks!
xiberger
No, unfortunately it's not possible. EDIT: User-controlled players can jump for overhead fly balls, but they can't climb the wall like the CPU does. PS: Nice to see Manny finally giving an effort in a Sox uniform. ;-)

Wicked420
You can railroad the catcher? Lol, which direction for that?
RaptorQuiz
You can railroad the catcher? Lol, which direction for that? Timing is very important (probably just like the wall-jump)... ...I railroad the catcher A LOT - sometimes by mistake, really... ...but just before the runner would get to home plate, as in, before the NORMAL slide animation would start... UP on the right analog stick if you're using a controller. I don't think there IS a control for that if you're using the keyboard. It's the same as doing a head-first slide - but if you time it w/ the runner going home and the catcher gets the ball - you railroad him instead. (Gotta set it to slide a bit earlier).
