cruecu
I'm back into this game after a few years away. I left after the 06 mod, but I can't get into any console baseball games like I can with the MVP mod. I just got a new laptop. I think the specs are more than enough to run the mod. The graphics card is a Nvidia GeForce 7150m. I'm assuming it's enough to run the game as well, though I could be wrong. The ram is 3gb. The process is an AMD turion 64 x2 (2ghz). 32 bit operating system running Vista. I've tried the original game with no mods. I've tried the original game w/ a patch. I've tried the 08 mod. I've tried V-sync on and off. I've tried different resolutions. NOTHING will fix the stutter and slowdown on balls past the infield and overall choppy play. I'm about to give up for good. I don't remember having this problem when I put it on my old desktop. That computer didn't even have the power this laptop does. I'm running the game off a mini-image. Could that be the problem? I had heard that actually speeds the game up, not slows it down. I need help in the worst way. Thanks in advance.

golfguy10
I have downloaded MVP 64 and 88 and although the work is simply amazing I do see choppy play especially when an infielder is throwing to 1st base. It's like MVP 2005 when it 1st came out. I believe this was a data compression issue and the delivered a patch to take the choppiness out. I have MVP 2005 and MVP 08 loaded and neither one has choppy or stutter video. If you have the game install and load the patches and see if you still have the choppiness.
